A Day in Paris
A one-on-one street photography day in Paris is unlike anything else. We’ll wander the city together, cameras in hand, noticing the light, the stories, and those little moments that make Paris so unforgettable. This isn’t a lecture — it’s a conversation, a walk, and time to explore whatever matters most to you: composition, technique, editing, philosophy, or simply learning to notice more clearly. I’ll share everything I know, answer every question, and help you see the city—and your own photography—in a new way.
All levels are welcome.
Let’s make it your day. Available by reservation.

“In November 2023 I was privileged to be able to complete a 1 on 1 workshop with Keith.
Even prior to planning a trip to Paris, Keith schooled me, providing many resources and specs on deciding which camera system was right for me. My Canon studio camera is large, heavy, and bulky; taking pictures of my 2 year old wild twin boys was a challenge with it, so often photos where taken with my iPhone, which for many reasons was not how I wanted to preserve their memories... I wanted more of a ‘Sally Mann’ feel of every day documentary work…
Keith’s workshop teaches to let go. To wait, to look at the world from a different perspective. The world is constantly moving and the people are changing every year, backgrounds are changing in cityscapes, creating an essence of time presented before us. Our job is not to be the center controlling that, but to document what is already before us for generations to come.
During the week, Keith also introduced me to some Parisian galleries, took me to a book signing for Steve McCurry, and we attended the Paris Photo 23 show. He took the time into long hours of the night to review my work, critique, discuss, edit, showing me some of his tips & tricks (that I still find mind blowing). Through all of this, we also became friends, and no longer strangers.
Keith is amazingly open in regards to his work and I highly recommend to anyone who is ready to go to the next level of their work, to reach out to him & attend one of his workshops!”

What is the best lens for street photography?
I’ll start this with the back story and end with photography wisdom. Here we go. I was washing dishes in our apartment while listening to a podcast for beginning French when my wife came up to me and said I should check out the band in the square right outside our window.
Look at your photos with fresh eyes.
Look back at images you created over the months and years. Look at them with fresh eyes. It is almost a given that you will find something you missed before. What is interesting of course is that you noticed it and photographed it in the first place.
